NFL AUCTION
There’s only one place to bid on exclusive Super Bowl packages, unique experiences and authentic signed and game-used items from your favorite teams and players: NFL.com/auction. NFL Auction plays a key role in the NFL’s Crucial Catch cancer awareness, Salute to Service military appreciation and My Cause My Cleats player cause campaigns. Game-used and game-issued items are featured on the site so that money can be raised for charitable partners.
The NFL does not profit from the sale or auction of items, packages or experiences on the NFL Auction platform. Charitable contributions are awarded by the NFL Foundation to the NFL’s nonprofit partners such as the American Cancer Society, USO, Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, NFL Player Care Foundation and many team and player charities. This has included more than $8.5 million in charitable contributions over the past seven years.
There are certain fixed costs associated with specific items, packages and experiences listed and sold on NFL Auction. These costs include, but are not limited to, the receiving, safe storage and fulfillment of memorabilia in an offsite facility, website hosting fees, credit card transaction and photo matching service fees (specific to game-worn product), cost of goods, authentication fees, etc. For several campaigns featured on NFL Auction, the NFL first subtracts these costs from each item’s final sale price and donates the dollars that remain. For some campaigns, including Crucial Catch (cancer awareness), Salute to Service (military appreciation) and My Cause My Cleats (player cause), the NFL does not subtract any costs and donates the full sale price in its entirety. At no time does the NFL retain any profits generated by the sale or auction of products on the NFL Auction platform.
